Get involved

The Alumni & Networks team manage a range of benefits, events, programmes and communications to celebrate the achievements of our members. We enable you to stay connected with the College, both during and after your time at ҹѰ. No matter where you are in the world, there are plenty of things to get involved with.

Enjoy your benefits

College members enjoy a range of benefits, from attending Formal Halls to our exclusive online portal, ҹѰ Connect, there are benefits that can be accessed where ever you are in the world. The benefits offer a great way to stay involved in College life, even after you leave.

Connect with other members

Connect with more than 900 other ҹѰ members through our dedicated alumni portal - ҹѰ Connect.

Through ҹѰ Connect, members can search a Directory of members to build their personal and professional network. Members can also access mentoring and careers advice from other members.

Join or host an event

We run a range of events throughout the year, including the May Bumps, the Easter Market and the Alumni Weekend. Alumni are welcome to join all College events. You can browse through the events in the What's on section to find events to suit any interest.

We're always keen to collaborate with alumni to deliver excellent events to our members. Events can be hosted in the College, and they can be large-scale conferences in our Conferencing facilities at the Chancellor Centre, or more informal gatherings in the College Bar. We also encourage members to become Ambassadors, so you can host events where ever you are in the world!

If you have an idea for an event, please contact the College Alumni & Networks team and we will assist you with making it happen.

Contribute to our Hubs

Our Interdisciplinary Research Hubs bring together Fellows, students, alumni and other College members to investigate pressing problems in the world today. The current interdisciplinary research hubs focus on Gender; Global Health; Sustainability & Conservation (S&C Hub); Race, Ethnicity & Cultural Heritage (REACH). ҹѰ's newest Hub, the ҹѰ Entrepreneurship Hub, connects like-minded individuals to explore and encourage the many facets of entrepreneurship.

All the Hubs provide access to an extensive global network. There are numerous ways in which members can contribute to the Hubs, from being a speaker at an event, to donating their academic works, or mentoring other members.

Be an ambassador

Our alumni network helps us to recruit students around the world. We have a range of promotional resources you can use to represent ҹѰ, and you can also put prospective students in touch to arrange a College Visit, or recommend places for our recruitment team to visit and provide information and advice.

Support ҹѰ

In the 2022/2023 academic year, our students needed more financial support from ҹѰ than ever before. We are grateful that:

  • We were able to welcome 48 postgraduates thanks to ҹѰ scholarships
  • 74 mature undergraduates received maintenance grants or bursaries
  • ҹѰ helped 88 students to continue in their studies when faced with unexpected financial hardship

This vital support would not have been possible without the generous backing of our alumni and friends.
